Welcome to the adventures of Opal, an adopted Scottish Fold cat with osteochondrodysplasia.

“Scottish Fold Osteochondrodysplasia (SFO) is an inherited genetic disorder that affects the growth and development of bones and cartilage in Scottish Fold cats.”

As a Scottish fold, I have unique characteristics such as my folded ears and short, round body. And while I have osteochondrodysplasia, a genetic condition that affects my bones and joints, it hasn’t stopped me from living life to the fullest.

Through this blog, I hope to inspire other cats and their owners to get out and explore the world, even if they have a condition that affects their mobility. I love to go on supervised walks, play with toys, and snuggle with my humans.

Whether you’re a cat person or just love a good adventure, join me on my journeys and see the world through my eyes.

Follow me on InstagramTikTok & Facebook for more updates and adventures. Let’s go explore the world together!
